Admissions Process

Complete the application and make the application fee payment for each child.

Submit all the required documentation to complete your application(s).
- Your student’s original birth certificate or certified copy. A photocopy of the child’s birth certificate will not meet this requirement. For purposes of official business, you’ll want to obtain a certified birth certificate from Department of Public Health or Vital Records Office where the student’s birth took place. This is also often described as an “official” copy. If you do not have a certified copy of your student’s Virginia birth certificate, please visit the Virginia Department of Health Office of Vital Records webpage for assistance.
- 2. Proof of Required Immunizations
- 3. List of medications
- 4. Negative results of a tuberculosis screening test for students who have been outside the United States or U.S. territories for three or more consecutive months during the five years prior to the registration date. Learn more about tuberculosis screening.
- 5. Transcript (from previous school)
- 6. State test results (SOLs)
- 7. A comprehensive physical examination for students in grades K-5 performed within 12 months prior to the date the student first enters public school. The Virginia Department of Education and the Virginia Department of Health require documentation on the Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form (PDF) before enrollment.

Confirm the enrollment and submit the non-refundable enrollment fee (per student application).

Review and Electronically sign the enrollment and tuition agreement (per student application).

Select from flexible installment plans for payment and setup automatic payment through bank or credit card.

Financial Aid Application (optional)
Click the link to submit online application. Create online account and submit Parent Financial Statement (PFS). Click Download to access instructions.
Upon completing all the checklist items, your WIS decision letter and contract will be sent electronically.
