Purpose

Woodbridge Islamic School (WIS) is a non-profit corporation registered in the state of Virginia, United States. It was founded by community leaders who are responding to increased need and demand for a full-time Islamic school that meet the needs of a growing and thriving Woodbridge Muslim community.

Non-profit Status

Woodbridge Islamic School (WIS) operates as a non-profit organization, dedicated to serving the community by providing a comprehensive Islamic education. As a non-profit entity, our primary focus is on the educational and developmental needs of our students, ensuring that all resources, including fees, donations, and fundraising efforts, are solely directed towards enhancing the school’s programs, facilities, and the overall educational experience we offer.

Tax Exempt Status

Woodbridge Islamic School (WIS) has obtained a tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This means that donations made to our school are eligible for tax deductions as allowed by law, providing an opportunity for supporters to contribute while enjoying the associated tax benefits.
